Description
Join us Wednesday, June 7 at 7 p.m. for Community Track Night!
The event will include a youth 400 Dash, Middle/High School/Open and Masters 800 Run and 1600 Run, and a 1-mile UP record attempt by Houghton native and Michigan Tech All-American, Clayton Sayen. The current Upper Peninsula soil record is estimated to be 4 minutes and 12 seconds. Adaptive athletes are also encouraged to participate, with Adaptive categories for the 400, 800 and 1600 distances.
Whether you're looking to kick off your summer running or trying to run a personal record, Community Track Night will be a relaxed, exciting, and family friendly atmosphere. Please join us as all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Houghton Schools track and field programs.
All participants will be entered to win a prize package sponsored by Copper Country Running Company!
