Copper Country "Boston" Half Marathon
Description
Join us in June for the Copper Country "Boston" Half Marathon and Keweenaw Coffee Works 5-Mile Race! In efforts to provide more opportunities for the running community, we aim to create a unique experience for both seasoned and new runners! In an attempt to play off of the world famous "Boston Marathon" we are creating our own version that runs through "Boston Location" and has its own unique beautiful half marathon route. Not quite ready for a half marathon yet? We've got you covered! We are also offering the Keweenaw Coffee Works 5-mile that runs along the same route...just shorter! All racers from each race will receive a race t-shirt, race medal, and sponsor gifts included in race packet.
Copper Country "Boston" Half Marathon
Running along the Mineral Range Railroad, the Copper Country "Boston" Half Marathon will be off road for over 8 miles of the race and will loop through the historic "Boston Location." All racers will receive a complimentary single use coffee packet courtesy of Keweenaw Coffee Works!

Aid Stations will be provided at miles: 2.5, 3.5, 5.75, 9.75, 10.9
Medals will be provided for all racers!
T-Shirts will be provided for all racers!

Timing will be provided from Superior Timing
Packet/Bib Pick-up will be held at Copper Country Running Company on Friday, June 7th from 10am - 7pm.
Awards: *Award ceremony, refreshments and music will be held at the finish line following the conclusion of both races*
1st Overall M/F: Free shoes from Copper Country Running Company
2nd Overall M/F: $100 Gift Certificate to CCRC
3rd Overall M/F: $50 Gift Certificate to CCRC
Age groups: 14U, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Keweenaw Coffee Works 5-Mile
Running along the Mineral Range Railroad, over 90% of the race course will be on the old railroad and will run through the beautiful scenery of the Keweenaw Peninsula summer bloom! Keweenaw Coffee Works, the Copper Country's premier micro coffee roastery, is our sponsor for the race! All racers will receive a complimentary single use coffee packet!
