Description
To celebrate our first year serving the Copper Country as your leading run specialty store, we are hosting yet another race along the Portage Canal. This year we will offer both 5k and 10k runs, 1 mile Kid's Run distances as well as our inaugural 5k walk! Whether you're looking for a social opportunity or an additional chance to showcase your summer fitness, we have the event for you!
Your choice of a free pair of in-store shoes will be awarded to the overall winners of the 5k & 10k races and gift certificates will be awarded to winners of their age group!
Age Groups: 14U, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
All participants will receive their choice of a custom race set of CCRC Coasters, a CCRC Mug, or a CCRC Water Bottle!
Bib & packet pick-up will take place starting at 8:00am in the park pavilion. Aid station will be provided for the 10k run.

Race Route
All races will start at the bike path connected to Kestner Waterfront Park's Parking Lot and continue east along the canal.
5k
Route will be a traditional Out and Back with the turnaround being just past East Houghton Waterfront Park
10k
Route will be a traditional Out and Back with the turnaround being near Sandpiper Drive. Aid station will be provided at the turnaround.
1-Mile
Route will be a traditional Out and Back with the turnaround taking place underneath the lift bridge.
