Half Marathon & Marathon Course
The route will offer scenic diversity as it travels through historic downtown Iron Mountain, over the Chapin Mine Pit, alongside beautiful Lake Antoine, dipping into the picturesque Fumee Lake Natural area, back out and around the rest of Lake Antoine and back to downtown Iron Mountain.  Marathoners will follow the same route but will add an out & back section on Bass Lake Road which allow you to travel along side the gorgeous Menominee River.  Marathon runners and half marathon walkers start at 7:00 am. Half Marathon runners start at 8:00 am. Course closes at 1:00 pm.

Half Marathon Relay
In 2014 we added a fun, 3-person Relay option for our beautiful Half Marathon course. Two transition points, both near Lake Antoine, will allow runners of all abilities to experience our awesome course! Leg 1 of the relay is approximately 3.45 miles, leg 2 is approximately 5.90 miles and leg 3 is approximately 3.77 miles. All three team members recieve a t-shirt and a finisher's medal. Corporate, family, friend teams and more are all welcome!

Moochathon Course
The Moochathon also starts out downtown and heads over the Chapin Pit turning right after the Pit onto Third Street. Run/Walkers will do a short out & back section on Millie St before turning left onto Park Avenue taking you up and over Millie Hill, past the famous bat cave, to East A Street, then down East A Street to Van Buren then down to the Finish. Moochathon starts at 8:15 am.

Aid Stations
There will be 6 water/aid stations available along the half marathon course. These will be approximately located at miles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. Water will be available at each station. PowerAde will be available at the stations located near miles #8 and 12. Oranges will be at the station near mile #8. A fresh spring water fountain is available in the Fumee Lake Natural Area near miles 4.8/8.0 on the Half Marathon course. There is one aid station along the Moochathon 5k course located near the top of Park Avenue hill.
