Due to COVID-19, Bridges & Bluffs will be held as a virtual race in 2020!
The Bridges and Bluffs ½ Marathon and 2-Mile Run/Walk can be run from September 7 until October 18, 2020. This event is held to raise funds to support management and maintenance of the local section of the Michigan Iron Belle Trail.
The race consists of a half marathon, 2 person half marathon relay team and a 2 mile run/walk option. The main event happenings and race start typically take place at the beautiful Ironwood Depot Park. For the virtual event, you are welcome to run the race distance anywhere and we will have a start/finish and turnaround points marked on the trail. To top off the event we expect the fall foliage to be at its peak.

There will be no in-person packet pickup for the 2020 virtual race. You will directly receive race information prior to the race.
The 2020 Virtual Race will not be timed and not include any overall or age group prizes. We encourage you to share your race results using run tracking apps like Strava and share to our Facebook page where you can still compete for bragging rights with your friends. All registrants will be eligible to win one of our door prizes donated by local businesses.
Race Times
The 2020 Virtual Race can be completed any time in September. Race Registrations will close on September 27, the planned day of the race, but you are welcome to complete and share your race experience on our Facebook page after this day. The race can be completed on the Iron Belle Trail, or anywhere you'd like.
