Train for the New Balance Girls on the Run 5k
Do you want to run the Girls on the Run 5k but not sure where to begin? Then this program is for you!
We’ve designed this 5k training program in partnership with Greater Kalamazoo Girls on the Run to help you prepare for the Girls on the Run 5k on May 26, 2016. This 5k training program is geared towards beginner runners, beginner runners, or runners who are returning from a break. Even if you have never run before, this program will provide you with the information and tools you need to complete your 5k!
Everyone is welcome to participate in this program. Please note, however, that the Girls on the Run 5k is an un-timed event.
Support Girls on the Run while you train!
Your personal goals, like running a 5k, can help thousands of young girls live their own dreams. Be a Girls on the Run SoleMate and raise money for the Greater Kalamazoo Girls on the Run.
When you join the Girls on the Run SoleMate program, the cost of training and the add-on option could be covered by Girls on the Run! For more information visit: www.girlsontherunkazoo.org/solemates
Please note: If you wish to participate as a Girls on the Run Solemate, you must first register as a SoleMate before registering for the 5k training program.
