About This Event
The 2020 Virtual Kalamazoo Klassic, presented in partnership by MRC Industries, Inc. and the Kalamazoo Area Runners (KAR) will run Saturday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 18th. Runners and walkers run the 5k and/or 10k course of their choice and input results directly into the system upon completion of the distance (s) All times must be entered by 11:59 pm on October 18th to be included in the official results and eligible for age group awards.
Runners and walkers have the option to participate in the 5k Run/Walk and or 10k Run with or without a custom finisher medal and shirt.
The cost to participate with a custom finisher medal and soft weave polyester/rayon/cotton blend shirt is $25 for either the 5k Run/Walk or 10k Run and $30 for the 5k Run/Walk and 10k Run combination. Runners who participate in both 5k Run/Walk and the 10k run will receive two medals – one for each event. The price includes the cost of mailing your shirts and medals to the mailing address entered at time of registration. Race packets will be mailed the week of October 19th – 23rd.
Runners and walkers have the option to register for the 5k Run/Walk and/or the 10k Run without a shirt and medal for $10.
Participant bibs will be generated electronically upon registration and may be printed off. All registered runners and walkers submitting their race times by October 18th at 11:59 will be included in the results and eligible for age group awards.
Registration for the Virtual Kalamazoo Klassic 5k Run/Walk and/or 10k Run closes Friday, October 2nd at 11:59pm.
At least 85% of the net proceeds of the Kalamazoo Klassic benefit MRC Industries, Inc. in its mission to encourage and support individuals living with a disability to achieve their fullest potential through employment, skill-building and active community involvement. The remaining proceeds benefit Kalamazoo Area Runners (KAR) in its mission to promote a healthy lifestyle through the sport of running while enhancing the quality of life in the community.
