Lake Village Homestead Farm Wellness Day 5k

So what is this Farm Wellness Day 5K all about?
This is the third year for our fun event, and our goal is to get you out to the Lake Village Homestead Farm for a 5K fun trail run/walk, followed by a kids' fun run/obstacle course and post-run activities unique to us! We have farm tours where you can visit with the animals and a chance to enjoy local healthy food sourced from the farm. There will also be the chance to consult with local wellness professionals!

The 5K rustic trail winds along the shoreline of Long Lake and through 300 acres of meadows and pastures, where you will be treated to close up views of wildlife habitats.

Running or walking are great activities that you can do on your own, but they are even more fun when you're joined by family and friends. We hope you will venture out to the farm and celebrate moving and wellness in nature's beauty.

Schedule:
7:45 am Gates open
9 am Announcements and warm-up led by CrossFit AZO
9:30 am 5K Trail Run/Walk followed by snacks 
10 am Kids' Obstacle Course Fun Run (ages 10 and under) with farm-style obstacle challenges!
10:30-11:30 am Yoga led by Virginia Bird (please bring a yoga mat if possible)

11 am-1 pm Local food prepared by Rustica, free to all registered participants.Visit with the animals, tour the garden, learn about becoming a Lake Village Associate member, enjoy the opportunity to meet wellness professionals from CrossFit AZO, Gazelle Sports, Lake Village Homestead, Dance to music played by KZOO FOLKLIFE.

2 - 9 pm Celebrate Lake Village Homestead's 45th year anniversary. 

Cost:
Adult-with shirt and meal $30
Kids-with shirt and meal $15
Kids-race only FREE (sign waiver at race)

Meal only $10

Online registration closes at noon May 13th. Packet Pick Up is at Gazelle Sports from 4-7 pm on Friday May 13. 

May 14th: $35 (cash or check only) for race day registration available 7:45-8:45 am (shirt based on availability)

General Admission for non-runners is free.
Donations are welcome and appreciated.

Dogs not permitted on the farm for this event.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
In the event of race cancellation due to inclement weather, no refunds or deferrals will be allowed.
