Description
Get out and run during the darkest time of the year! Join us for the Welcome to Winter 5k. The race is located at the cross country course at Kalamazoo Christian Elementary School. Medals to age group winners. $15 per person.
Currently there are 22 people signed up so we still have room for 3 more! No race day sign ups. Registration closes at 4:00 PM on Friday.
The following safety protocols will be in place: Masks will be worn at packet pick up, large starting line so runners can spread out at the start, masks required to be worn inside if using the indoor bathrooms, masks will be worn when passing out medals after the race, spectators will be expected to social distance, race will be limited to 25 participants.
Current weather forecast for race day looks pretty good (for December 19). 35 degrees with a slight chance of snow. Perfect weather for a Welcome to Winter race!
I don't expect this race to get cancelled, but if it does, participants will be given a full refund (minus the run sign up fee).
