Description
We are excited to host our 5th Annual Miles for Mentorship event to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region’s mission to ignite the promise and power of youth! Miles for Mentorship is an outdoor, walk or run 5K. This year the event will be held at Hawk Island starting and ending at the Red Tail Shelter. Proceeds to this event help support the agency’s mission to create 1-to-1 mentoring relationships so that all youth achieve their full potential!
Back again! children 12 years of age and under are invited to participate in our Spooky Sprint Kids Run! Halloween costumes are encouraged, and each participant will receive a treat bag at the finish line. The Spooky Sprint is free of charge!
The race will be professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and online at the results tab, top of the page.
Pricing
$25 until 9/22. $30 from 9/23 to 10/08. $35 10/09 to 10/14. Shirts are guaranteed with registrations thru 9/22. There is no race day registration. Online registration will remain open until 10/12.
Family pricing: $5 discount per participant when registering 3 or more people at the same time. The discount is automatically applied during checkout when you select multi-person pricing.

- Friday, October 11th from 11:00-6:00pm at Consumers Credit Union South Cedar St Branch- 6935 S Cedar St, Lansing, MI 48911
- Saturday, October 12th from 10:00-1:00pm at Consumers Credit Union East Lansing Branch - 2763 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823
- Sunday, October 13th at Hawk Island Park beginning at 8:30am prior to the race.
T-shirt - Men, Women and Children sizes!
T-shirt is guaranteed with paid registration by end of day 9/13. We are offering youth sizes small thru large, women sizes small thru 2XL, and Men's size small thru 2XL. After 9/13 t-shirts are available as supplies last. Register early to secure your t-shirt.
T-shirts will not be mailed to Virtual Participants, please make arrangements to pick up at the office. We will contact you prior to the event with specific pickup days and times.
Medals
Medals will be provided to all 5k finishers!
Team Awards
Award for the Largest Team, The Most Spirited Team, and the Largest Fundraising Team.
