JOIN THE MICHIGAN STATE POLICE IN THE Bolt for the Heart 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. This is a family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome. The course will be run on the grounds of the MSP training academy and is flat. The Michigan Running Foundation will be on site to provide professional race timing. Results will be posted during the race and online at Playmakers.com.
Michigan’s Bolt for the Heart mission is to place an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in each Michigan State Police patrol car, and to provide for heart scans for Michigan State Police troopers. Proceeds from the event go to support this wonderful cause.
Packet pick up and late registration: Friday, May 17, 2019 between 3:00pm - 6:00pm, or on race day from 7:45am – 8:30 am.
T-shirt: 5K participants registered prior to May 16, 2019 will receive a race t-shirt. T-shirts available after that date as supplies last.
Awards: Ribbons will be given to all participants. Awards will be given to the overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and the top three individuals in each age group (men and women).
