Description
Michigan's largest beginner-friendly multi-sport event, the Hawk Island Triathlon, now offers Spring and Fall races with Kids, Sprint, and Olympic distances. We welcome and encourage people of all ages, sizes, and abilities as they venture into the world of triathlon.
Kids races (ages 3-14) are the first Saturday after Memorial and Labor Day Weekends. Sprint and Olympic distance races (ages 8-80) are the following day (first Sunday after each holiday).
Get the whole family involved! Remember, the family that races together... has a whole lotta fun!
Swim/Bike/Run Distances
Goldfish (6 and under) swim 25m, bike 150m, and run 100m. Dolphins (10 and under) swim 100m, bike 3 miles, and run 1 mile. Sharks (14 and under) swim 200m, bike 4.5 miles, and run 2 miles.
