Description
Join us for the 17th annual Run for Fame. This is a great late summer race. Featuring an accurate 5k course thru Downtown Lansing and the River Trail. You'll find both shade and a scenic view.
Start time: 9 AM
Entry Fee: $30 until 9/07, $35 from 09/08 to 9/13, $40 race day 9/14. Register early for the discounted fee and to guarantee a shirt!
Course: Scenic accurate 5k along the river.
Results: Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site.
T-shirts for pre-registered participants, and available as supplies last afterwards.
Packet Pick Up : Race day morning starting at 7:30 am in front of the Lansing Center.
Awards: Overall and age group medals will be available for pick up at the race starting at 9:45 am. 5k run/walk Trophy to Overall Female and Male Winner. Medals to top 3 places in each age group. Age Groups: 10 under, 11-12,13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64 65-69, 70-74. 75-79, 80+
Timing: The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live during the race and on the Run Signup page.

Donate and Receive a FREE Entry!
If you would like to support The Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame and get a free entry to the race donate $50. When you register for the race your entry will be free! Simply Sign Up and follow the steps to register and on the donation screen enter $50. ($30 discount applied during checkout. Valid until September 7th and then it's a $30 discount off your entry fee.) Donate $25 and you'll receive a $5 discount off your 5k race entry fee.
