Dr. Wax Orthodontics Lace Up For Learning 5K Run/Walk 2024

Join us for Dr. Wax Orthodontics' 9th annual 5k fundraiser supporting our local schools! This is a family-friendly event for all ages and running speeds. Lace up your sneakers and join us on November 2nd at 8:00 am for a morning of fitness and fun. Enjoy music, prizes, and vendors, plus pre-race celebrations!

Packet pickup available Friday, November 1st, from 10 am to 6 pm at our Linden location or on race day from 8:00 am onwards. 

FAQ:

1. Do I have to Run? Nope! You can go at your own pace! Walk, run, sprint, jog, etc.
2. Can I bring a stroller? Yes! Of course.
3. Can I bring my dog? Yes! Per the parks rules, all dogs MUST be leashed.
4. Do I get a medal? Yes! As soon as you cross that finish line! (No medals for dogs)
5. When and where do you post the times of the race? Times will be posted at the prize table after the race.
6. Do you have a map of the route? Yes, it is posted on the event page and there will be a copy when you pick up your race bag.
7. Where does the race start? The race starts and finishes at Deer Run Soccer Complex (16021 Linden Rd, Linden, MI 48451).
8. When will top runners be announced? Results will be posted at the prize table.
9. Do winners get prizes? Yes! Prizes for the top 2 runners in all age categories will be announced immediately after the race.
10. What other prizes can I win? Yes! Visit all our amazing local business vendors and you can enter to win many many prizes!
