Lamplighter is a nighttime cross country meet at Ford Field in Livonia, Michigan that transforms a traditional 5K into a high-energy experience under the lights. Designed to elevate high school racing, the event blends competitive excellence with illuminated course elements and a community-driven atmosphere. By giving athletes a championship-style stage at night, the Lamplighter Invite reimagines what cross country can look and feel like—bold, electric, and unforgettable.
