Harvest Fest: Axe Cancer Micro Marathon

Description
A marathon is 26.2 miles and 1% of the world population have completed a marathon. A Micro-Marathon is only 0.262 of a mile. Everyone can participate whether you sprint, run, or walk. The race will start in from of the Prayer Room in Manton, loop around the block past Three Oh Eight, and back to the Prayer Room. The course will be clearly marked with volunteers on the course.
This race is being put on to raise money for Amber Herlein's battle with breast cancer. Amber is a counselor at the high school and her husband, Brandon, is a middle school PE teacher; both of their children also attend Manton Consolidated Schools. All proceeds from the race will go to the family.
Every participant will receive a beverage token for Three Oh Eight (plus discount on food) and a beverage token for the Shamrock (plus $1 off a burger). The beverage tokens can be used for alcohol drinks if the race participant is of age. There will also be popsicles and ice cream sandwiches for kids that participate. All beverage tokens and discounts on food are ONLY able to be used on Sunday the 31st. You will receive the tokens and tickets when you pick up your information for the race by the start line.
