The Story Behind the Race:
Superior Timing is proud to partner with Queen City Running Company to bring you this race. Kara Graci, wife of Superior Timing owner, Sam Graci is riding her bicycle with the Chapter IX Police Unity Tour from Philedelphia, Pennsylvania on May 9 arriving at the National Law Enforcement Memorial on May 12 in Washington D.C. in honor of her Uncle, Larry Nehasil, Livonia Police Officer killed in the line of duty on January 17, 2011 and West Bloomfield Police Officer Patrick O'Rourke, killed in the line of duty on September 9, 2012. Her goal is to raise $1,900 for the ride, which supports the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. As a special thank you to the Marquette community for supporting this ride and race, a portion of the proceeds from the race will go to the newly formed chapter of Girls on the Run in Marquette.
