Covid Polar Bear Relay Series

With the uncertainty of the MITS indoor track season we wanted to provide high school athletes an opportunity to test their fitness.  We understand that for safety and venue availability we must conduct these events outside. This series will consist of four dates.  Two dates in January and two dates in February.  All events will take place on Saturday with a 12:30PM start time.   In order to make this series manageable we have limited it to 6 participating schools. You ONLY have to register/pay once.  Once you are registered you will be eligible for all 4 events/dates. 

Dates: January 16th, January 30th, February 13th, February 27th (All Saturday’s)

Participating Schools: Bay City Western, Benzie Central, Cadillac, Freeland, Saginaw Heritage, Shepherd

Competition Sites (In order): Midland (hosted by Freeland), Beulah (hosted by Benzie), Bay City (Hosted by BCW), and Cadillac (hosted by Cadillac)

Race Events (Not in order - event will be announced the week of.  This will allow us to gauge the weather at the location of the event to determine which event will take place): 4x1k, 4xMile, 4x1.5, 4x5k

Awards: First and second place teams will receive customized event awards.
