Better Together Virtual 5K Run/Walk

The Milan High School Diversity Club is hosting a Better Together Virtual 5K event in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month! This is a fundraiser with half of the proceeds going towards MHS Diversity Club and the other half benefitting Educate Youth, a local student-led charity. Educate Youth has a mission to connect youth with the world to promote peace, greater understanding, and a love of learning. Their ultimate goal is to increase the number students that receive a diploma and for each graduate to have a post-high school plan.

This event truly is for everyone, not just MHS students and faculty. We want to get the community involved! The Better Together 5K will be completely virtual, so anyone can complete the 5k anywhere! Run on your own, with your friends, or with your family!  Run in your neighborhood or go to a park!  You go at your own pace! Times can be submitted on the RunSignUp page or by using the RaceJoy App on your mobile phone. The virtual race is to be completed and times submitted during Memorial Day Weekend, anytime after Thursday, May 27th at 2:11pm and before Monday, May 31st at 11:59pm.
