Join Us for the First Responder 5K!

Lace up your running or walking shoes and get ready to make a difference at the First Responder 5K hosted by SERVPRO of Mt Pleasant, Clare and Houghton Lake. This is a dynamic and inspiring event dedicated to supporting our local heroes. This exciting race is more than just a run—it's a community celebration aimed at raising funds for the Isabella County First Responders Fund, the purpose of the fund is to facilitate the development of cooperative efforts in first responder education, fire prevention, public safety education, emergency care, hazardous material safety, and other areas related to the many fire departments that serve Isabella County.

Event Highlights:

Scenic Course: Enjoy a well-marked 5K route through our beautiful parks, perfect for runners of all levels.
Family-Friendly Fun: Bring the whole family! The Mt Pleasant Fire Department will have a truck there for the kids to check out! The event also includes games and plenty of opportunities for everyone to join in the fun. 
Race-Day Perks: All participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and access to post-race refreshments and entertainment.

Fundraising Impact: Every step you take supports Isabella County First Responders in their mission to facilitate the development of cooperative efforts in first responder education, fire prevention, public safety education, emergency care, hazardous material safety, and other areas related to the many fire departments that serve Isabella County.

Registration Information:

Early Bird Registration: Save $5 if you register before September 8th.
Standard Registration: Register by October 4th to guarantee a custom t-shirt.

The route winds through beautiful, paved trails along the Chippewa River starting and finishing at Island Park.
