Important Message Regarding COVID-19 (novel coronavirus)
We at Trivium Racing are still working hard to make sure we have a great event for you in August. While planning continues, athletes should be aware that the potential for cancellation or postponement still exists due to Covid-19. There are also certain modifications that may be made to mitigate the health risks posed by large group events if the event does go forward. We may be in unfamiliar territory, but trust that we will do everything we can to have a safe and fun event as promised. Please make sure you are aware of our refund policy prior to signing up. We hope to see everyone on August 29th, 2020!

Description
Check out Trivium's take on the elimination-style race . It's not always the fastest who wins. Sometimes its the one who plans the best, or the one who can withstand the conditions the longest, or the best pacer. Lapper's Delight will test the endurance, the patience, and the stamina of our racers. Athletes will complete a 4 mile lap once an hour. Finish in 25 minutes? Fine you get 35 minutes rest. Finish in 59 minutes? Also fine, but you have 1 minute to get back to the start line. If you finish the lap, you move on to the next round. Don't finish the lap in an hour, you are out! Last athlete standing wins. This one is over, when its over.
Every third lap, Trivium will have a "Race Prime" (pronounced "preem"). Primes will go alternately to the winner of the Prime Lap and to a random drawing on the Prime Lap. Prizes will include free entries to Trivium Races, a free pair of running shoes, your playlist on the sound system for the next 3 hours, a home made apple pie. We have a lot of ideas, but athletes will help us come up with more leading up to race day! You can go after the prime, but you may sacrifice your longevity in the event to do it!
What makes this event extra special is that the trails we are using are part of the winter cross country ski complex in the winter, so the entire course will be lit!
Anyone who finishes 13 hours of racing will get a Custom Rappers Delight Race Medal! If you make it 24 hours you get a free entry to next year's event!
