Playmakers has partnered with local Parks Departments to provide a unique fitness opportunity for children in 3rd-6th grades. Running Club participants receive Good Form Running coaching from certified Playmakers staff during 8 training sessions over 4 weeks and concludes with a Fun Run Finale! Our goal is to promote fun, healthy, active lifestyles and help children get in shape for other sporting activities.

At each session, participants will learn proper dynamic warm-up techniques, Good Form Running practices, and play a fun game! Mileage will start low and gradually increase to a goal of 3 kilometers (1.85 miles) at the end of the program.
