Run the Lake 5K

3rd Annual Run the Lake 5K

Join us for the third annual Orchard Lake Country Club Family 5K Fun Run/Walk, Run the Lake! Our course will be a great race for runners (and walkers) of all ages and abilities. This 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk is a great way for the whole family to take part in a fun event! This "cross country" style course will start and finish in the Picnic Grove, winding around the OLCC campus and along the golf course cart path and West Shore Drive. Guests are also welcome! Bring them out to show off the club in a unique way. Proceeds from the event will benefit The First Tee of Greater Detroit (more details below). 

NEW Kid's Fun Run

Kid's 13 and under are invited to participate in the inaugural kid's run. The route will be roughly a 1/2 mile loop and will include the 5K start and finish line. All participants will receive a T-Shirt and an award. (Children 13 and under are also able to participate in the 5K Run at no additional cost)

Donations for the event are still accepted, but no benefits can be offered this close to the event date.

Race Day Schedule

7:30am Day of Registration Begins
9:00am Kid's Run
9:20am 5K Race (at the completion of the Kid's Run)
10:30am Results, Refreshments & Food!

*West Shore Drive and the parking lot are open to vehicle traffic. The golf course is open to golfers. Please be alert of your surroundings at all times while on the running route. Please park in the lower parking lot by the picnic grove.
