The Beer Run

The Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce is back with our annual Beer Run for 2023! Starting and ending at The Sideline Sports Bar, enjoy 3.1 miles of Owosso's fall scenery on your run/walk. Participants will receive the traditional long sleeve Beer Run shirt and one free beer from The Sideline Sports Bar included in registration.  Each runner will also have the option to pay $5 for a commemorative Oktoberfest beer stein along with a 2023 Beer Run waterproof sticker to add to it. Hold onto your stein and bring it back for our annual St. Patty's 5k or next years beer run to use for your free fill up! We'll also have glow sticks, temporary oktoberfest tattoos, and some fun games.

This is a family friendly event. We are encouraging families to participate together and then stop in the Sideline Sports Bar afterwards to enjoy a nice dinner. Full menu, including awesome options for kids! 

Pricing is $40 until October 15th and includes a t-shirt. $45 from 10/16 to race day, shirts available as supplies last. Adult sizes small thru 3xlarge available. 

Kids ages 0-12 are only $25 until October 15th, then $30. T-shirt is included until 10/15, then available as supplies last. Youth sizes small thru xlarge available.

Awards: 1st male overall and 1st female overall winner. Top three in age groups (male and female 18-54 and 55+). Top overall kid age 12 and under 

Results will be live immediately following the race. 

The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
