Description
The City of Petersburg is excited to host The 7th Annual Rose Run on July 11th, 2015! Started by the family of Rose Marie Hunt, who lost her life to breast cancer in January 2009, The Rose Run has raised more than $65,000 for breast cancer research, ovarian cancer research and The Volunteer Fire Department in Petersburg. Join us again this year on a beautiful, flat course through a small town.

The Volunteer Fire Department in Petersburg
The Rose Run has been kicking off the annual Community Day in Petersburg for the past four years. The local festival is a fundraiser for the Volunteer Fire Department. These are the men and women who volunteer their time to come to the community when there is a need. We are honored to donate to these brave men and women every year.

University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center
We are pleased to announce that we will be donating again to The University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. We love the strides in research the department is making in breast cancer and have chosen to send our proceeds to The University in the name of Rose Marie Hunt.
