Description
This is a walk/run going from the Water Shelter at the Water Front down the Little Traverse Wheelway towards Charlevoix and back to the Water Shelter. The money put into this will go towards the ALS Association for clinical research to develop more treatments and hopefully a cure to ALS.

Run for a Cure
Run for a Cure 5K to Fight ALS
This is a 5K walk/run to raise money for ALS research. The money raised will go directly to the ALS Association in Washington DC to fund clinical research trials to develop new treatments and hopefully a cure to ALS. It will be Saturday 11th, 2018 at 10:00am at the Water Shelter by the Water Front in Petoskey 101 East Lake Street. The run starts from the Water Shelter and heads west on the Traverse Wheelway towards Charlevoix and back. This is a walk/run for people of all ages and abilities. Open registration runs until Friday, August 10th at 5:59pm at $25 per runner. Late Registration and Packet Pick up is Friday, August 10th from 6pm to 10pm at the Palette Bistro in Petoskey and will be $30 per runner. Day of Registration starts at 8:30am at the Water Shelter at the Water Front and will be $30 per runner as well. Volunteers are needed. If interested in volunteering please call 231-622-9626.
