Ready to run, have a blast, and make an impact? Join us for an unforgettable day of fitness, fun, and community at Light of the World Academy's annual Run for the Gold 5K & Kids Fun Run on Saturday, March 15th, 2025!
This much-loved race has hosted anywhere from 200 to 450 runners (depending on March’s weather) and their adoring spectators. The run is a mixture of Michigan country dirt roads, paved trail, and the streets of downtown Pinckney—a course that attracts all types of area runners.
PRICING
- $30 until March 9th
- $35 March 10th -14th
- $40 on race day (online registration only)
- Kids run $10
SCHEDULE
10:00 am 5K starts
11:00 am Kids Fun Run
Awards will be given around 11:15
Awards for the overall male and female winner. Medals will be given to the top 3 runners in each age category for both male and female in the 5k race. Age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and older
Kids Fun Run participants will receive an official race Tshirt and small medal as supplies last.
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live and on this website after the race.
Course Map
COURSE: The run is a mixture of Michigan country dirt roads, paved trail, and the streets of downtown Pinckney—a course that attracts all types of area runners.
RACE DAY PARKING: Available throughout Pinckney, although roads will remain closed for the parade. Additional parking available at the depot lot across from Light of the World Academy. Plan to arrive prior to 9:30 am as the Police Chief will be shutting down roads.
