EVERYDAY HEROES NEEDED!
COME JOIN THE FUN AT THIS FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT!
We are happy to announce our 5th Annual event: Everyday Hero Kids Obstacle Course: Mission Possible which will take place at beautiful Bloomer Park in Rochester, Michigan on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST.
Together we will honor and celebrate our amazing EVERYDAY HEROES, OUR FIRST RESPONDERS whom we are so grateful for. This event is a fun way for kids to interact with our frontline professionals from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, the Michigan State Police Department, and the Rochester Hills Fire Department and EMS and all of their respective vehicles.
During Mission Possible, children engage in physical activities and fun as they progress through stations where they will obtain a trinket and be cheered on by our first responders and program sponsors. There will be plenty of great photo opportunities and lots of family fun!
To stay current with the times, we have to remain flexible and innovative, right? Things have changed and we are ready! We will be practicing social distancing by having ten children separated at each station, staggered starts by family, providing hand washing stations and cloth masks to promote a healthy and safe environment for everyone.
This event is a great way for you and your kids to help make a difference for some of the most vulnerable among us, trafficked children. By participating in this event with your family, you will help us to raise awareness and funds to enable the rescue and rehabilitation of children. The trafficking of children hasn’t stopped in this unprecedented time in our history. Children still need you!
- MISSION POSSIBLE is a fun event for all ages.
- Wear a HERO COSTUME or t-shirt to the event and receive a free bracelet!
- Enter the raffle to win prizes on the day of the event.
- Multi-purpose headbands will be provided (at packet pick-up, location to be announced) for all pre-registered participants registering before August 1st.
- Everyone will have a blast and all children will receive a medal for completing MISSION POSSIBLE!
