Ann Arbor Kids Tri presented by Goldfish Swim School

The Ann Arbor Kids Tri presented by Goldfish Swim School has three age divisions — 5 and 6 year olds, 7 to 10 year olds, and 11 to 14 year olds — all competing in age-appropriate distances. The Goldfish Kids Tri is ideal for  children of all abilities: those who have always been curious about the triathlons their parents love to do, those who compete on the junior tri circuit, and those who just want to give a new and exciting sport a shot!  Events by Age:

5 and 6 year olds — 50-yd swim, 1-mile bike, half-mile run 
7 to 10 year olds — 100-yd swim, 2.75-mile bike, half-mile run
11 to 14 year olds — 200-yd swim, 4.3-mile bike, 1-mile run

Parents: Please note that, as a USA Triathlon-sanctioned event, the Ann Arbor Kids Tri brackets participants according to their age as of December 31 of the race year.

A 6 year old turning 7 in September will be in the 7-10 age group.
A 10 year old turning 11 in November will be in the 11-14 age group.
A 14 year old turning 15 in October or later should participate in the Ann Arbor Tri on August 4.
