RunTough for Team Elle 2020 (VIRTUAL)

Sat September 26, 2020

Description

Hi Everyone - Thank you so much for all the love and support over the past few months since Elle's diagnosis. We have decided to partner up with The ChadTough Foundation for a virtual run. The mission of The ChadTough Foundation is to inspire and fund game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), which Elle was diagnosed with just a few short months ago. 100% of the proceeds from the race signup will go to the ChadTough foundation and their funding of this research. Thank you for your support.

Join Team Elle in a VIRTUAL RUN to support The ChadTough Foundation! You can run whenever, wherever, however you want ... or not at all (we won't tell)!

Register by September 4 to guarantee a shirt. For registrations received by September 4, we will make every attempt to get your packet to you before the official event day of Sept 26, but it cannot be guaranteed.

All proceeds will go to The ChadTough Foundation, whose mission is to inspire and fund game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

Did you know?

  • Cancer is the number one disease killer of children in America.
  • Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children.
  • DIPG is responsible for 15% of ALL pediatric cancer deaths each year.
  • ONLY roughly 4% of the taxpayer-funded National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) annual budget is directed toward pediatric cancer (not brain cancer but ALL pediatric cancer).
