RunTough for Team Julian 2020 (VIRTUAL)

Sat September 26, 2020

Description

Julian Boivin was born on June 17, 2006. Diagnosed with DIPG on November 29, 2010, Julian fought bravely for seven months before gaining his angel wings on July 3, 2011. He loved to imagine himself as a brave knight or a superhero, and embodying his characters was a joy to watch. Over the last 9 years, Julian has inspired many to “Be Brave” in all things, and to help give kids a fighting chance against pediatric cancer and deadly brain tumors.

Join Team Julian in a VIRTUAL RUN to support The ChadTough Foundation! You can run whenever, wherever, however you want ... or not at all (we won't tell)!

Register by September 4 to guarantee a shirt. For registrations received by September 4, we will make every attempt to get your packet to you before the official event day of Sept 26, but it cannot be guaranteed.

All proceeds will go to The ChadTough Foundation, whose mission is to inspire and fund game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

Did you know?

  • Cancer is the number one disease killer of children in America.
  • Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children.
  • DIPG is responsible for 15% of ALL pediatric cancer deaths each year.
  • ONLY roughly 4% of the taxpayer-funded National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) annual budget is directed toward pediatric cancer (not brain cancer but ALL pediatric cancer).
