Triathlon Swimming Clinic: Open Water and Technique Drills

Get ready for triathlon season with Parker Performance Training! Triathlon Swimming Clinic: Open Water and Technique Drills, will be held on held on Sunday, February 28 from 12 PM to 2 PM at the Saline High School Pool. From open-water sighting to proper freestyle mechanics, this workshop will help you develop an efficient, powerful stroke for triathlon. Special topics include managing body contact in the water and racing strategies. This clinic is suitable for both the advanced triathlete or the beginner able to complete 100 yards non stop. Multi-angle underwater video footage is included! The cost of this clinic is $65 through February 21 and $75 from February 22 through February 28. An additional clinic entitled GET YOUR FEET WET! An Introduction To Triathlon Training and Racing will be held from 11 AM to 12 PM immediately preceding the Triathlon Swimming clinic; the cost of this additional clinic is $20. Chrissy and Michael Parker are exercise researchers and clinical-exercise physiologists with more than a decade of experience in endurance athletics. Michael is also Epic’s very own run course director, while Chrissy is an Epic Races emeritus, Ironman 140.6 finisher, and Ironman 70.3 World Championships qualifier.
