Description
Better Together 4 Saranac presents the inaugural BT4S BridgeFest 5k! The 5k run/walk will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 8:00 am. Participants will receive a race t-shirt and finishers medal. This is a family friendly event, all abilities and ages welcome.
Pricing: $25 until 8/10 (t-shirt guaranteed), $30 from 8/11 to 8/22 (limited shirts), $35 race day (t-shirts not guaranteed). Online registration only.
Course: Flat and paved 3.1 mile course. Perfect to run or walk. Stroller friendly. See link for course map at the top of the page.
Packet Pick: Race day morning starting at 7:00 am.
Results: Live after the event and posted on this website. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
Proceeds from the event support Better Together 4 Saranac - a collaborative nonprofit group in Saranac Michigan working together to make Saranac a better place by sharing info, creating events and activities.

Start at the Saranac Trail Head - parking lot. There is a side walk that goes underneath the bridge on Morrison Lake. Runners will go under that and follow it until they get to the entrance sidewalk/road of the nature park. They will follow that back to the nature park and do 2 counter-clockwise loops, and then come back to the road to the main entrance at the Fred Meijer trail. They will then turn east on the trail and take that down until the entrance path to Sheid Park. From there they will turn around and head back west down the Fred Meijer trail to where they came out of the path from under the bridge. They will jump back onto that sidewalk trail and go under the bridge and to the finish line in the parking lot of the Trail Head.
