Al-Van's Harborfest Furry 5K/10K  is June 17, 2018.  It's Harborfest weekend in South Haven, so come and spend the weekend enjoying Harborfest activities!!

The Al-Van’s Harborfest Furry 5K/10K is a fundraiser for the Al-Van Humane Society, a no-kill animal shelter, located in South Haven.  Participants can run/walk with their pet, as long as they are leashed, up to date on vaccines and sign pet waiver.

Register Early!!  The Al-Van Humane Society Furry 5K/10K will be closed after 400 registered participants

2018 - The “Home" Run VIRTUAL 5K/10K

• The “Home" Run VIRTUAL 5K/10K is a non-timed event. Participants can participate anywhere, and any course.  Participants will get a bib# , tee shirt, and have it mailed to you. 
• How to prepare for the virtual 5K/10K on June 17th
• Deadline to register: June 10, 2018

       1)  Choose a route.
       2)  Choose a time.
       3)  Recruit friends to run with you!

Event Fees:

"Paws on Parade 1 Mile Walk"

• A 1 Mile Fun Walk with your pet.
• $20.00 (includes pet bandanna). 

5K Run/Walk

• Early registration, until June 11th, midnight: $25.00 (includes race t-shirt)
• Late registration, June 12th - June 15th, midnight: $30.00 (t-shirt not guaranteed)
• Early Packet Pickup, June 16th, $30.00 (t-shirt not guaranteed)
• Day of race registration, June 17th: $35.00 (t-shirts may be purchased, if any remain)
• T-Shirts are only guaranteed through June 10th.  After June 10th, T-Shirts will be only available in limited quantities and sizes (first come, first serve basis)

 10K Run

• Early registration, until June 11th, midnight: $30.00 (includes race t-shirt)
• Late registration, June 12th - June 15th, midnight: $35.00 (t-shirt not guaranteed)

• Saturday Packet Pickup -3 - 5 pm, Al-Van Rescued Treasures Resale Shop: 07591 Blue Star Highway, South Haven. (Across from Bronson South Haven Hospital).
• Race Day Packet Pickup - 6:30 - 7:30 am, @ Kids Corner Park, 82 Monroe Street, South Haven MI 49090.
• 5K Start Time: Sunday @ 8:00 a.m. 
• 10K Start Time: Sunday @ 8:00 a.m.
• Paws on Parade 1 Mile Walk @ 8:00 a.m. (Will stage behind the 5K participants) 

Age groups:

12 and Under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and Over.

Awards 5K and 10K:

Overall Male, Overall Female, Overall Master Male and Female, and 3 deep in each age group.

Timing and Scoring: 

Timing and scoring will be done by Mac's Sports Timing.  Race results will be posted at the event and posted online shortly after the event.  www.macssportstiming.com
