Description
The National Blueberry Festival is proud to sponsor the 2018 5k Walk/Run. Proceeds from this event will support National Blueberry Festival.
The National Blueberry Festival 5k is designed with the racers in mind. We have configured the courses to be as straight as possible while still offering scenic views of Lake Michigan, the Black River, and beautiful downtown South Haven. We invite you to join us on Saturday, August 11.

Packet Pick up and Late Registration
Please be aware that there is an additional fee for registrations received after July 31. Packet pick-ups are available at the following locations:
1 - Friday, August 10 packet pickup will be hosted by Masters Chiropractic & Rehabilitation located at 1675 Phoenix Rd (Locker Plaza), South Haven from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
2 - On race day, August 11, at the Riverfront Marina from 6:45am to 7:45am. Only pre-registered racers are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Gear Check
Do you need someplace to store your car keys, wallet, or other personal items while you are racing? If so, a gear check station will be located at the marina registration area on race day for your convenience! You can check your gear and personal items prior to the race using your bib number for identification.

Age Groups for Male and Females in 5k:
10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
Walk Event
Medals to the top three males and females in each age group for the walk.
Age groups for Males and Females in 5k Walk:
30 & under, 31-50, and 51 & over.

Michigan Fruit Belt Series
The Blueberry Festival Run/Walk is proud to be a part of the "MICHIGAN FRUIT BELT SERIES". The "Michigan Fruit Belt Series" is your chance to participate in helping "grow" the fruit industries of Michigan! As the country relies on much of the great fruit from this area, your participation will help promote awareness of Michigan's fruit industry and its growers. The "Michigan Fruit Belt Series" highlights the importance of including fruit in your daily diet as well as exercise. A commemorative coin is given to all qualifiers who finish and post a finish time at any five of the participating events. Fuel your body with "The Good Stuff" . . . Michigan fruit!

Strollers and Pets
Strollers are allowed in the run and walk, however, we ask that you start toward the back of the group and be aware of participants around you. For the safety of all participants, pets are not allowed in any of the events.
