Race Packet Pickup Group

To aid in picking up packets for groups, families, etc. with more than three participants, the Sparkler recommends creating a Race Packet Pickup Group. It’s easy to do.

During the registration process, when you see the Packet Pickup Group screen with your name, click on the gray tile to Create a New Packet Pickup Group and enter a name for your packet pickup group. After entering your Packet Pickup Group Name, you will be given the option to set a password that will be required for anyone trying to join your packet pickup group. If you do not set a password, anyone can join your packet pickup group. The Sparkler recommends that you set a password to make sure no one joins your packet pickup group by mistake. Finally, share your Packet Pickup Group name and, if applicable, the password with all the members of your group.

If you are registering and a Packet Pickup Group has already been created for your group or family, click on the Join an Existing Packet Pickup Group, and enter the name of your Packet Pickup Group. As you start typing in letters, existing Packet Pickup Group names will begin to auto populate. Select your group’s name and if applicable enter the password. Complete this step for all the participants that you are registering. Please ignore the gray tile asking if you want to “Join the Same Packet Pickup Group as….”

Please remember that if you are in a group, you need to pick up as a group and to have your group name and team leader’s name when picking up your group’s race packets.
