Imagine lining up with thousands of runners just like you on a beautiful Traverse City morning. You enjoy the picturesque views of Grand Traverse Bay as you push yourself to beat last year's time. You come to the final stretch downtown and you're reenergized by thousands of cheering fans all the way to the finish line where you're handed cherries after you cross the line.
Maps are for reference only. They will be professionally measured and marked on race day. There may be slight changes to course routes. Please check back for updates.

Important Race Course Change Announcement for the 10k, 15k, and the Half Marathon.
Due to abnormally high water levels, the race course for the Half Marathon, 15k & 10k are being rerouted from its usually path under Murchie Bridge. This year, you’ll find yourself running along the bay and under the tunnel to sprint to the finish line in the 2019 Festival of Races.
While we have tried everything to keep our race course the same, mother nature has had other plans for us. The high water levels range between 3 and 8 inches of standing water on the race path and the safety of our runners comes first. The race team would like you to know that the distance of this race only change by approximately 140 feet.
Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding. It is going to be a great race!
