What?
A 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk benefiting the Goodwill Inn Homeless Shelter. Click here for course map.
When?
The race takes place on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Registration and packet pick up is held between 8:00-8:45am in the cafeteria. The 5k race kicks off at 9:00 a.m.
Where?
The Run For Shelter will start and finish at Willow Hill Elementary (1250 Hill St. Traverse City, MI 49684).
Why Participate? (The Impact)
The $35 registration fee will support one night of shelter for a neighbor in need, which includes three square meals, basic necessities and resources to secure jobs and permanent housing.
Registration Cost?
The cost of the run is $35 when registered by June 19, 2016. The price increases to $40 as the race day approaches. Kids 10 and under are FREE + friendly dogs and baby strollers are welcome too!
