Due to the ongoing hazardous air quality throughout Michigan we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Tour de TART
After working closely with our community partners and local health and safety officials, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Tour de TART. Our decision was made with local health and safety officials and using data from several projection models, including AirNow and the Air Quality Index Recommendations of the Road Runners of America. We also took into account the exposure of volunteers and vendors that would be required to work outside today and tomorrow before air quality predictions shift to healthier levels.
This decision was difficult for Team TART. We are crushed to miss this annual gathering with you all and filled with concern for our friends and neighbors as they battle the flames that are fueling the smoke.
While we are deeply disappointed that we are unable to host this year's event, we invite you to consider converting your registration fee into a donation to TART Trails. Your support helps offset event expenses already incurred and advances our mission to bring trails to life.
If you prefer a refund, we are happy to provide one upon request. Refund requests will be accepted through July 23 at 11:59 p.m. Any registrations not refunded by that deadline will automatically be considered donations to TART Trails. Please use the RunSignUp link found here: https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/TraverseCity/TourdeTART
We appreciate your continued support and thank you for your understanding.
