Update July 2020:
Hello everyone, great news to share! Even though the Ubly Homecoming 5K has officially been cancelled, I am planning on still having the race in an unofficial limited capacity next Saturday, July 11 at 8am at Ubly Veterans Park. This will be a free no cost event that you can still signup for and use as your virtual race too.

This race will have no shirts, awards, or post race refreshments, no official timer, no people watching corners, and just one Porta-John on site, but I will still mark the course with my usual arrow signs on corners. However, for those that participate they will be given a generic medal for completing the race.

Update April 2020:
I am sorry to say but due to the Ubly Homecoming being cancelled this year because of the cornonavirus, this also includes our annual 5K race. However, I am still offering the race as a VIRTUAL event as a way to still encourage runners and walkers to get out and challenge themselves while adhering to the current government guidelines of the coronavirus.

There's no entry fee for this virtual event, but that also means no shirts or awards either. However, because we have no fees or sponsor donations we are gladly accepting any donation you may want to contribute to help support the Ubly Cross Country Program for this year.

The window to do this event and to submit your results will open Friday, July 10 through Sunday, July 12 giving you a 3 day window to complete this.

For those of you that do participate in this virtual event, I will have a random drawing of the finishers and those recipients will earn a FREE entry into the 2021 Ubly Homecoming race. The drawing will be split into 4 categories (Male Runner, Female Runner, Male Walker, Female Walker) with one winner from each category.

I hope I see you join our virtual event! The Ubly Homecoming has typically been the 2nd largest thumb area race, second only to the Cheeseburger 5K in Caseville, so I hope you plan to be back with us next year to keep this great race going!

Thank you,
Garrett Jurges - Race Director
