Description
Delta College has combined with three other local facilities (Bay City YMCA, Saginaw YMCA, and The Greater Midland Community Center) to host the 2018 Tri-Cites Tri-Series. There will be four indoor triathlons taking place within the next few months at each place. An indoor triathlon consists of 20 minutes of swimming in the pool, 20 minutes of riding the stationary bike, and 20 minutes of running on the treadmill. The participants will be given 10 minutes of transition time between each station. The great thing about it being indoor is that it's at your own pace! Regardless of how far you swim, ride, or run, the bout will end at the 20 minute mark. The waves of participants will start at 8:00 A.M., meaning you don't have to be there right at 8:00 A.M. to complete your triathlon.
