Description
The Welcome Home Organization (WHO) is linking up with Samaritas and the Tri-Cities Refugee Organization (TCRO) in order to host a 5K fundraiser on SVSU's campus that will support refugee resettlement efforts. The run will be held on Saturday, April 8th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. After the run, you have the option to find out how to get involved with organizations that are fighting for causes you care about, contact local representatives and make your voice heard in the postcard writing session, and listen to local leaders talk about how to push for social change in your community. You can register for the race on our website. Registration costs $25 for adults, $10 for kids, and $5 for young kids.
