Together to the Top

Since 1992, Društvo prijatelja Biblije (Scripture Union Croatia), has served children, teens, young adults, and families all over Croatia and beyond. In 2001, we opened the DPB House Training Center where so many have expressed here is a place they could grow and belong as they learned to walk with Jesus and to obey His commands.

Together, we have seen the love of Christ demonstrated to so many over these past 28 years, and heard testimonies of how God used those who serve with DPB to help them understand more about the Bible and to see what it looks like to have a relationship with Jesus. You all have been a part of this story and helped make it possible. 

Due to the worldwide Coronavirus Crisis of 2020, DPB is now facing a new challenge and we need the help of our community. Right from the beginning, Scripture Union International provided annual grants to enable this ministry to serve alongside churches and Christian organizations to

• make God's Good News known to children, young people and families, and to
• encourage people of all ages to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer, so that they may come to personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, grow in Christian maturity and become both committed church members and servants of a world in need. 

Need: Those grants have come to a quick end for 2020 as the income of established movements has been hit hard. We need to see donations come in to keep those who serve with DPB employed and to keep the doors of the DPB House Training Center open. COVID-19 also canceled our summer camp and training season and as a result, the funding we counted on for the year is also no longer available. 

You can help us in this time of need by making a donation of any amount to help keep DPB open through 2020. Every month, we need to raise for the ministry needs $3,000.00 ($100.00 per day) to pay our staff and the bills for the facilities in order to keep the doors open. We are starting this Summer Together to the Top donation raiser to help cover the next three months.

Special Project Zambia: We also believe in supporting others so as part of this project, we will be giving 10% away to help provide 500 Bibles for young people in Zambia coming from disadvantaged homes. Scripture Union in Zambia hopes to train over 50 writers with the aim to empower them to write discipleship devotional material for the various language groups in the nation. 

Your partnership helps DPB stay open so we can continue to step alongside children, teens, young people and families in Jesus' Great Commission. It also provides Bibles for those who cannot get one otherwise in Zambia.
