Description
The Leaping Leprechaun 5k at Waterford Oaks is the first event in the 2016 RR Race Series in Oakland County Parks.
A St. Patrick's Day themed 5k run through Waterford Oaks County Park featuring a beautiful course, custom medal, long sleeve shirt, course entertainment, and fun for all.
The race benefits Clarkston SCAMP "A Special Camp for Special Kids!" Clarkston SCAMP benefits kids in Clarkston, Waterford, and the surrounding communities.
Packet Pick-Up / Race Day Registration
Packet Pick-up and Race Registration will be held at the Start/Finish Line area in the Lookout Lodge at the back of Waterford Oaks County Park.
Friday: 6:00-8:00pm
Saturday: 7:30-9:00am

Course Info
5k Course runs entirely within Waterford Oaks County Park
Surface consists of paved roads, paved hike/bike path, and a small 300meter section on gravel road.
Entire course will be plowed if needed!
We will be using the Lodge building near the start/finish line for warming before and after the race!
Awards
Long Sleeve Tech Shirt to all registered by March 6
(We will attempt to get shirts to those that register after March 6 - but cannot guarantee)
Custom Bottle Opener Medal to all 2017 Finishers
Age group awards 3 deep (Male and Female Separate)
Age Groups: 8-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Awards to top 3 Overall:
Men, Women, Men's Masters (40+), Women's Masters (40+)
Awards will NOT be mailed out - you must pick up your award at the race site on race day.
