Description
For this race, we’re going back to where the RD grew up, the beautiful city of Wyandotte, Mi. A great, historic city on the Detroit River, Wyandotte is part of the downriver community of cities.
This running event is part of the very popular Celebrate Friday’s series that has become a major part of the city’s culture, celebrating local artists, musicians, and other festivities with local merchants.
The event takes place at the Old Historic Theater site right in the heart of downtown Wyandotte, with registration, packet pickup, start and finish all using this venue.
An exciting, scenic loop incorporates the entire downtown, along with a run along the river, before making a loop through a residential section and then coming back through downtown. A multi-loop course for those participating in the 10k and 15k distances, each time you pass the finish line your 5k split will be recorded. This is a very fast course, so come on downtown, have some fun, and enjoy all that Wyandotte has to offer.
