Description
Join the Still I Run community and run at least one mile every day for mental health in the month of May! Why May? May is Mental Health Awareness Month. We're doing this to help shed more light on mental health and to create an accountability challenge designed to get you moving. When you join the Run Streak, you're signifying to those around you that mental health matters!
As a participant of the 2019 Run Streak you'll get cool swag and access to our private Facebook group! The group is perfect for connecting with others around the globe, create accountability during the month, and post updates on how your streak is going!
About Still I Run
Our mission is to encourage one another to take time out of our busy lives to run for our mental health. Still I Run is a community where people can share their experience of dealing with depression/anxiety etc. through running or any other type of physical activity. The group aims to help erase the stigma surrounding mental illness, create solidarity for those of us that are acquainted with it, and hopefully inspire others to take up running or physical exercise as a way to cope with a mental health condition.
We’re a community of warriors determined to take control of our physical and mental health while also breaking the stigma surrounding people that live with a mental illness.
