Trailblazer 5K for Winning At Home

ABOUT 
Join Winning At Home for our first Trailblazer 5K and Half Mile Fun Run. Runners and walkers of this event come together benefitting WAH Missions. Physical activity is good for mental health! Help your family’s mental health while you help support our trailblazing efforts locally, nationally and globally. 
 
WAH Missions exists to encourage, equip, and empower partner organizations domestically and abroad to promote mental, relational, and spiritual health. Through counseling, consultation, and conferences, Winning At Home counselors and coaches share strategies and skills that enhance wellness. With Christ at the core of these operations, WAH seeks to ignite passion for strong marriages and families.

9:00 a.m.  Opening Remarks & 5K Start 
10:15 a.m. Half Mile Fun Run start 
 
LOCATION 
Helder Park 
3751 104th Ave.  
Zeeland, MI 49464 
 
The route is entirely paved throughout the park as well as trails.  The path will be lined with encouraging message signs. Map route will be available soon.  This Route is not certified. We have done our best to map out a 3.1 mile 5K route and a shorter half mile route; however, it might not be exact. 
 
EARLY PACKET PICK-UP 
Friday, June 16, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Winning at Home, Suite 5 (300 S. State Street, Zeeland, MI  49464).  If you cannot make it Friday night, you can pick up your event packet when check-in begins at 8:15 AM on Saturday. 
 
SHIRTS 
Event short sleeve t-shirts are included with the 5K Walk/Run and optional with the Half Mile Fun Run for an additional $15. EVENT SHIRT DEADLINE IS JUNE 1.  Register by June 1 to be guaranteed an event shirt.
 
 
REFRESHMENTS 
We encourage everyone to stay and enjoy post-event refreshments and cheer on the final finishers.  
 
REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY 
We are unable to issue refunds. The registration fees help cover the investments and purchases involved with this event. We appreciate your understanding. The event will still be held, rain or shine.  However, in case of severe weather, please watch for an email or social media post regarding postponement or cancellation of event. 
 
CREATE A TEAM  
Create a team on the registration website and recruit people to sign up under that team name. For example - sign up to represent a church, company, athletic team, extracurricular group, school, class, or in memory of a loved one or friend.  
 
A Winning At Home prize package will be awarded to each team member of the largest team registered.  TEAM CREATION deadline is Friday, June 1, 2023. Individuals may still join a team after June 1.

DONATE WITH A CHECK? 
If you would prefer to donate by mail, please send a check (made out to Winning At Home) to 300 S. State St, Suite 13, Zeeland, MI  49464. 
 
ARE PETS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE? 
Yes, but for the safety of all runners, we ask that you line up in the “walk” group after the runners have started. Please make sure your dog is on a leash for the entire event.
