Description
The CXC Youth Cup provides a fun, encouraging environment that motivates youth athletes ages 10-13 (U12 and U14 age groups) to succeed. Come and end the racing season with the CXC Youth Championship races at the Grand Avenue Nordic Ski Center in Duluth, Minnesota. Race at the same venue as SuperTour athletes! Host club, Duluth Cross Country Ski Club, celebrates skiing with Youth Championships, Tour Duluth and the MySL Carnival, all on one weekend. There is something for every age!
This CXC Youth Cup event will score results on the Midwest and Great Lakes Divisional Ranking List. No membership is required to participate. However, competitors with Youth General membership will be provided points and preferential race seeding based on points and ranking. CXC Youth Cup Midwest and Great Lakes Divisional Ranking Lists are used for the Dream Camp qualification. The U14 skiers who finish in the top 5 on the Divisional Ranking List will earn a spot at Dream Camp. Youth Championships will have race divisions for U8 to ages U14.
