The Gobble Gallop is all about coming together, sharing smiles, and making memories! This Thanksgiving Day, grab your loved ones and join the fun with your pick of three exciting events: the Gobble Gallop 5K, Tough Turkey 1 Mile, or the Gobble Giddy Up! Kids’ Run. It’s one of the biggest and most spirited running events in the Twin Ports, where thousands of participants gather each year to run, laugh, and celebrate what truly matters—community and family!

Gobble Gallop 5K

The 5K is an out and back through downtown Duluth, starting on London Road at the Rose Garden- the course follows London Rd south onto Superior Street to 5th Ave. W and back.

The 1-Mile starts and finishes at the Rose Garden on London Road, following Superior Sreet to the historic Fitger's Building and back.

The Kids Run is on London Road, and starts and finishes at the Rose Garden.

Kids 8 & under are eligible to participate in this race

Price: FREE (kids must be registered by parent or guardian and sign the waiver)

Donate through your registration and sign up as a fundraiser. If you raise $250.00+ Duluth Running Co. will refund your registration fee. Donations from individuals outside of the event are accepted and encouraged. Please pass this along to your friends, family, and neighbors.

 

Safe Haven's Mission

Provide safety, space to heal, advocacy, and empowerment for women, children, and all survivors of domestic violence.
Safe Haven offers resources and support to survivors of domestic violence. They serve a seven-county area in northern Minnesota, including St. Louis, Koochiching, Aitkin, Lake, Carlton, Itasca and Cook counties. They provide emergency shelter for over 500 survivors and advocacy for more than 1,500 adults and children annually.

You do NOT need your confirmation or QR code for Check-in

Can I check my family in too? 
Yes, you can check yourself in as well as others.

What do I need for Check-In? 
Bring a bag for bibs, pins, hats, stickers, add-on apparel etc.- to reduce waste, we do not provide packets or bags.


What about race day Check-in?
If you are checking in on race morning- arrive early! There is always a long line for check-in & restrooms! 

 

Parking & Road Closures


Superior Street will be closed from 10th Ave E to 5th Ave W. 

London Rd will be closed from 10th Ave E & Superior St to 14th Ave E.


Where can we park near the race? 
Parking is available in the Duluth Rose Garden parking lot and on London Rd & aveunes east of 14th Ave E, as well as on Superior St east of 10th Ave E.

Volunteer & Get the Gear!

Join the fun and make a difference this Thanksgiving! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the Gobble Gallop a success. As a thank you, all volunteers will receive a custom Gobble Gallop Winter Hat. Be part of the team that brings this beloved community event to life! 

Results & Awards

Your finish time is posted within minutes of your finish and results are available via the QR codes displayed at the finish area and in your email once you cross the finish line.
Awards Presentation: 10:30am 
The presentation will take place near or inside the big tent near the finish area. Overall and age group awards will be announced. Results will be available online within minutes of finishing and you will have access to this information to see if you have placed in the top 3 of your gender category and age group.
Age group awards will be provided to the top 3 finishers in each of the following age groups by gender category for the 5K & 1-Mile: Men, Non-binary, and Women <10, 11-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+  
Overall awards will be provided to the top 3 finishers by gender category for the 5K and the 1-Mile for the Men, Non-binary, and Women categories.
We will continue the tradition of presenting pies to award recipients courtesy of Gobble Gallop partner SuperOne Foods.
If you do not wish to participate in the awards presentation, please notify event staff of this prior to the awards presentation.
