The 2020 Kasson Festival in the Park was cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and that means no 5K or 1 mile Fun Run this year. Please join us next year as we hope to be back and better than ever! Thank you and be safe out there!

Come join us for the annual Kasson Festival Run/Walk. We are part of the Kasson Festival in the Park weekend activities. Our goal is to provide a fun and healthy event for the entire family, and we are offering a 5k race that goes through our beautiful city and a free 1 mile fun run. So whether you're looking to set a 5K course record or you just want to get outside and enjoy the nice walk with friends, we have something to offer.
5K participants - register by July 23rd, 2020 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Dates and Times
- Aug 5, 12:00 PM - Online registration closes
- Aug 7, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM - Packet pickup at the Gazebo in Veterans Memorial Park - North Park.
- Aug 8 Race Day, 7-7:30 AM in-person registrations accepted and packet pickup at the East pavilion.
- 8:00 AM 1 mile run, start near the East pavilion
- 8:05 AM 5k race, start near the East pavilion
Event Information
For everyone's convenience, we are offering race packet pickup on Friday Aug 7th from 6PM to 8PM. We will still accept registrations at this point, as well as on race day until 7:30 AM.
- All 1 mile and 5K participants must register on the RunSignUp registration page.
- Adult t-shirts are unisex, men's fit.
1 mile fun run (race will be timed)
- Registration is free and does not include a t-shirt.
- Same as in 2019, timer bibs will time your run/walk.
- T-shirts are available for $10 and can be purchased through the RunSignUp Store race registration website. All T-shirt orders must be placed by July 23rd, 2020.
5K (timed race)
- Participants registered by July 23rd, 2020 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
- Individual:
- $15 per person for 5K during early registration before July 24th.
- $20 per person for 5K during late registration from July 24th-August 5th.
- $25 per person when registering in person the night before or day of the race.
- Family
- $40 per family for 5K during early registration period before July 24th. Includes 4 t-shirts.
- $45 per family for 5K during late registration period from July 24th-August 5th. Shirts are not guaranteed at this point.
- $50 per family when registering in person the night before or day of the race.
- Additional T-shirts are available for $10 and can be purchased through the RunSignUp Store race registration website. All T-shirt orders must be placed by July 23rd, 2020.
- The 5K is chip timed
Awards
- All 1 mile and 5k entrants are eligible for door prizes.
- Awards ceremony will start at roughly 9:20 am.
- 5K: top 3 finishers in each age group receive an award
